Last week, the hallways of Haven Bay weren’t just filled with the sounds of learning; they were buzzing with the excitement of a global expedition. Our incredible PTA hosted a Staff Appreciation Week that will be remembered for years to come.
With the theme "Travel the World," our educators and support staff were treated to a first-class experience without ever leaving the nest. The journey kicked off with flavors from around the globe. Our Great Blue Heron Staff "flew" through a variety of culinary destinations. We had The Fizzy Express: A custom Soda Bar kept spirits high and energy bubbling while in-flight. A vibrant Salsa Bar brought the heat and plenty of crunch for a taste of Mexico. We enjoyed our Orient Connection as the staff enjoyed a delicious Panda Express lunch, bringing the bold flavors of the East to our breakroom and we landed in Paris on Friday when the week took a sweet turn with a dedicated Dessert Day, transforming the lounge into a Parisian patisserie.
Because every world traveler needs the right gear, our PTA went above and beyond with high-end souvenirs. Every staff member received a curated travel bundle, including a Care Kit (for those daily emergencies), Cozy Picnic Blankets (perfect for a sunny afternoon at the bay), and The Iconic Bogg Bag (the ultimate "carry-all" for our hardworking teachers).
The school was decked out in our signature blue, green, and gray, but the real color of the week was the smiles on our staff's faces. These gestures do more than just fill plates; they fuel the passion of the people who make Haven Bay the best school on the coast.
