The energy inside Haven Bay Elementary School reached an all-time high last Thursday as students gathered for the thrilling climax of May Math Madness! Transforming standard curriculum into an exciting, school-wide tournament, every single student put their skills to the test in an ultimate showdown. The main event featured a fast-paced game of "War" entirely based on math facts, filling the room with intense focus, cheers, and incredible sportsmanship.
Sitting eagerly on the gym floor, our young Haven Bay Herons cheered each other on as calculation after calculation brought them closer to the finale. After multiple rounds of fierce, head-to-head competition, Mr. Weston’s phenomenal 4th-grade class rose above the rest to claim the championship title! Their quick reflexes and stellar math skills earned them the top spot, prompting an ecstatic, jumping celebration from the victorious students.
